Para accesar y dialogar con el misterio que habita dentro y fuera de nosotros la llave es la OFRENDA.
Este proyecto nace de un sistema de prácticas que propone el escritor e investigador Victor Sanchez inspiradas en la obra de Carlos Castaneda y una larga relación con comunidades indígenas nahuas y wixárika que tienen como centro la relación con los poderíos de la naturaleza con el objetivo de navegar lo desconocido y las posibilidades no exploradas por el ser humano que está limitado por su historia personal.
Desde mi infancia he realizado estas prácticas, que lejos de parecerme esotéricas o mágicas , me han brindado una metodología muy pragmática para conducir mi vida y sus retos, cercanamente con la naturaleza.
El libro – objeto OFRENDA es en sí mismo mi Nierika del despertar de la memoria , para cerrar y abrir ciclos al cobijo del fuego y los poderíos de la naturaleza, usando las técnicas que conocemos como Recapitulación y el entierro del guerrero.
En este trabajo integro la fotografía a mi práctica personal para realizar así mi propia ofrenda y al mismo tiempo invitar al espectador a hacerse preguntas y explorar la idea de realizar su propia práctica en búsqueda del otro yo.
To access and dialogue with the mystery that lives inside and outside of us the key is the OFFERING.
This book was born from a system of practices that has its origins in the original peoples of Mexico, and that have been systematized by “The Art of living on purpose”. This practices have as a center of their worldview the relationship with the powers of nature and their objective is to navigate the unknown and the possibilities not explored by human beings, which are limited by their personal history.
They are the practices of the recapitulation, the warrior’s burial, the confession and the offering on which “OFRENDA” is built.
OFRENDA is a NIERIKA of the awakening of memory, to close and open cycles to the shelter of fire and the powers of nature.
The photographer Luis Enrique Aguilar integrates photography into his personal practice to make his own offering, at the same time he invites the viewer to ask questions and explore the idea of carrying out his own practices in search of his other self.
