Luis Enrique Aguilar Pereda
(Ciudad de México, 1980). Estudió en la Escuela Activa de Fotografía. Cursó el Seminario de Fotografía Contemporánea 2010 del Centro de la Imagen y diversos talleres en este espacio, así como en el I Encuentro Nacional de Investigación sobre Fotografía y el Instituto Internacional de Periodismo José Martí en Cuba.
Su obra se ha expuesto de manera colectiva en México, Estados Unidos, Colombia y España. Fue seleccionado en el 14º. Concurso Latinoamericano de Fotografía en Colombia, la Séptima Bienal Puebla de los Ángeles, la Tercera Bienal de Fotografía en Chiapas y la 15 Bienal de Fotografía del Centro de la imagen. Obtuvo mención especial del jurado en el concurso Migraciones Internacionales y Fronteras en España y mención honorífica en el concurso “Un día en la vida de los chiapanecos” de la Universidad Intercultural de Chiapas.
Es miembro del colectivo de fotógrafos Tagameluz en SCLC, Chiapas. Coordino durante sus cinco años de existencia el proyecto Gimnasio de Arte y Cultura Chiapas y ahora dirige la plataforma para la fotografía chiapaneca MIRADOR, fue becario del programa Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA generación 2014-2015 y participo en Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña 2016.
Ha participado como tutor en 20Fotografos MX organizado por el Foto Museo 4 Caminos y el Colectivo Mas UNO de Colombia además de impartir diferentes cursos y talleres sobre el desarrollo de proyectos de autor.

Luis Enrique Aguilar Pereda
(México City 1980) Luis Enrique Aguilar studied at the Active School of Photography. He attended the Contemporary Photography Seminar of the Centro de la Imagen (2010) as well as several workshops in the same school. He participated in the First National Encounter of Photography Research and attended the José Martí International Institute of Journalism in Cuba.
His work has been exhibited collectively in Mexico, United States, Colombia and Spain. He was selected at the 14th Latin American Photography Contest in Colombia, the Seventh Puebla de los Ángeles Biennial, the Third Photography Biennial in Chiapas and the 15th Biennial of Photography at the Centro de la Imagen. He obtained the honorable mention in the contest International Migrations and Borders in Spain, and the honorable mention in the contest "A day in the life of the Chiapanecos" of the Intercultural University of Chiapas.
He is a member of the photographic collective Tagameluz in SCLC, Chiapas. During its five years of existence he coordinated the Gimnasio de Arte y Cultura Chiapas project. He currently directs the platform for the Chiapas photography MIRADOR.
He was a fellow of the Jóvenes Creadores Program of the FONCA (2014-2015) and participated in Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña (2016).
He has participated as a tutor in 20Fotografos MX organized by the Foto Museo 4 Caminos and the Mas UNO Collective in Colombia, as well as teaching different courses and workshops on the development of author projects.
